Livestock manure N loading calculator

Calculate the manure N loading of a farm. To comply with the Northern Ireland Nitrates Action Programme farmers need to know if this is below the 170 kg N/ha/year limit, or if operating under derogation, whether it is under the 250 kg N/ha/year limit.
The calculator uses standard values for the amounts of manure N produced by different types of livestock and the amounts imported or exported in different slurry/manure types to calculate the N loading in kg N/ha for the farm.
Simultaneously it calculates livestock manure phosphorus – which is information required by farmers operating under a derogation.
