Local Food Sharing - Potluck and Interactive Lecture

Is food a common good? How do you relate to food and what are social and political aspects of food? Join us for a fun evening with a lot of food for thoughts!

18:30 Potluck: Bring your own favourite dish to share in our potluck. You are welcome from 18:00, dinner starts at 18:30. The potluck is optional, you can also come in at 20:00 for the interactive lecture.

20:00 Interactive Lecture: We will start the evening with an interactive game in which we will explore our relation to food together. Then, Oona Morrow, assistant professor in food sociology, will explore with us the practice and politics of food provisioning in cities, communities, and households. Foodsharing Wageningen will illustrate how they combat food waste and how they created a food commons in Wageningen.
