In Memoriam - Arvyn Haghighi

It is a great loss that Arvyn is no longer among us. Arvyn passed away on Friday the 13th of September. He was a refugee from Iran, a beautiful person who made many contributions to OtherWise by volunteering at our organisation.

It is such an unneccasary loss as well, as he took his own life after hearing he could no longer stay in the Netherlands. It is painful to see that when someone seeks refuge, seeks a home in the Netherlands, our state fails to support those who are in such need.

We will remember Arvyn as a compassionate, friendly young man with a big willingness to help others.
