Dr. Deli Zhang Delivered Invited Lectures
Dr. Deli Zhang was honored with an invitation to deliver a lecture at the 22nd Dutch-German Joint Meeting, in March 2025. This invitation-only symposium brought together leading experts in the field. Dr. Zhang presented her group’s most recent advances in developing a method to measure mitochondrial function in frozen tissue. Her presentation was met with highly positive feedback and has already led to promising opportunities for new collaborations.
Further underscoring her international recognition, Dr. Zhang has been invited to speak at the XXV World Congress of the International Society for Heart Research, in Nara, Japan, from May 11–14, 2025. She presented on the “Critical Role of Mitochondrial Remodelling in Cardiac Arrhythmia.” Invitations to this congress are typically extended only to senior scientists with widely recognized contributions to the advancement of the field.
In addition, Dr. Zhang was invited to give a lecture at the Department of Nutrition and Health, China Agricultural University and at the Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing China invited by Dr. Wenbiao Shi and Prof. Jinkai Zheng. During her visit, they explored and consolidated collaborative efforts in nutrition and cardiometabolic health research.
