How to 3D print an optimal food texture
Creating a pleasant and tasty food texture is one of the big challenges in 3D food printing. Texture properties of food are related to their mechanical characteristics, which are a result of the microstructure.
Selective Laser Sintering enables us to control microstructures in new ways. In this research, we studied the influence of changing the laser parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties, which allows for food texture customization with 3D printing. Read about our latest research.
