July 4, 2022

The infrastructural activities planned for this summer will affect the accessibility of the Wageningen Campus. In July the asphalt on Grintweg will be replaced and the same will be done to Dr. W. Dreeslaan (N781) in September. In August there will be no trains riding via Ede-Wageningen station.

Asphalt repair

The municipality of Wageningen is going to make Grintweg a road for bicyclists. In preparation for this, the municipality of Wageningen will remove the top layer of asphalt on Grintweg between 4 July and 8 July 2022. Work will be done during the day, and the road will be closed to through traffic.

The asphalt on the N781 between the connection to the A12 and the Droevendaalsesteeg roundabout also needs to be repaired. In the autumn, the province of Gelderland will lay new asphalt from the connection to the A12 up to the Droevendaalsesteeg roundabout. A new top layer of asphalt on Dr. W. Dreeslaan will be constructed at night from 12 to 29 September 2022 (provisional dates). The road will be open to traffic during the day; all lanes and the bus lane will be accessible.
