EU ABS Networking Event

On 14 June 2021, the German Nagoya Protocol HuB, in collaboration with the Dutch ABS Focal Point and others, organised an EU ABS Networking event. The event focussed on capacity-building for users of genetic resources. Four speakers presented and discussed ABS resources available for different sectors and indicated which resources are still lacking. A quick poll during this event showed that people dealing with ABS consider web-based information, guidelines and best practices to be the most useful resources for dealing with ABS rules.
