MC (Maria) Annosi PhD
Associate Professor of Innovation and Organization TheoryMaria Carmela Annosi She is an Associate Professor of Organization Theory and Innovation at the School of Social Sciences, Wageningen University and Research in The Netherlands. She is responsible for the WUR executive program Driving Sustainability in Organizations: Strategies and Implementation. She teaches and coordinate the master level course Leading and Organizing for sustainability at WUR. She is a member of the Research Centre in Business Transformation, Franco Fontana, at LUISS Business School. Additionally, she co-founded the DigiMetis Center of Excellence, focusing on the analysis of socio-ecological systems in the digital age, within Wageningen University and Research. She serves as a Board Member for the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) and IFAMA Europe. She also holds the role of an Academic External Collaborator at the McGill Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics (MCCHE). She sits in the scientific committee of Food and Wine master in LUISS Business School , Amsterdam. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a Researcher in Organizational Learning and Innovation at Ericsson System Research, part of Ericsson Research, in Sweden. She completed her PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and was a Fellow in Economia and Gestione d’Impresa at LUISS Guido Carli University. She has also enriched her research experience as a visiting scholar at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum within the field of the genesis, diffusion, and institutionalization of new practices both within firms and across them. She has authored articles in leading journals in management field such as: Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, California Management Review, Journal of Business Research, Organization Studies, Industrial Marketing Management and other scholarly journals. She authored three books on different business transformations: Agile, Digitalization and Sustainability .She is a member of the editorial teams for the Journal of Product Innovation Management and the Journal of Creativity and Innovation Management.
