Wageningen Campus

Wageningen campus is located in the heart of the Foodvalley region and consists of two nearby sites. There is Wageningen Campus, the site with the Wageningen University & Research buildings including the characteristic monoliths and the research buildings at the ‘Business Strip’. Within short distance, you will find the Business & Science Park Wageningen (BSPW), which also uses the name of Wageningen Campus.

Both can be reached conveniently by public transport or by car - there’s ample space for parking. Together these two locations form the innovative Wageningen Campus ecosystem, a place for sharing knowledge and collaboration towards tomorrow’s solutions.

Meeting and Interaction

Above all, Wageningen Campus is a place to meet up and work together. There is room for anything from a scientific congress, a lecture, a business meeting or a debate to a work-out, a cup of coffee or lunch concert. Take meeting centre Impulse, and the Dialogue Centre Omnia, where global issues get the attention they deserve, with room for anything as big as a symposium to something as small as a workshop.

Because we believe sharing knowledge is as important as developing it, Wageningen Campus is a place where research, education and entrepreneurship meet. The striking buildings of Wageningen Campus  and the neighbouring Business & Science Park Wageningen provide diverse facilities and spaces. The sustainable solutions developed here are put into practice on campus as well, making Wageningen Campus one of the most sustainable knowledge campuses in the world.

A green oasis on Campus

Surrounded by the buildings of Wageningen Campus is a big, green, central area where you can meet or relax. Be sure to visit the Nature Garden behind the Lumen building that was planted in 1998 using soil types drawn from the Wageningen environment. The grasslands of Wageningen Campus are full of life, providing a place for more than hundreds of plant species to grow, among them several types of special orchids. There’s room for woodpeckers, kingfishers and special hiding places for bats. Read the Green Vision for Wageningen Campus to learn more.
