Evaluation Center examines pilot Neigbourhood youth care

To prepare for the transition of youth care services, the municipality Putten had started a pilot regarding neighbourhood youth care in January 2013. The municipality Putten has requested the Evaluation Center Public Heath to examine this pilot. The research included information from registration forms, and experiences with neighbourhood youth care from families and social workers. The results indicate that the approach used by neighbourhood youth care is successful and appreciated by the families. The evaluation report has received nationwide attention with an article in the magazine Binnenlands Bestuur and a item at the website of the Association of Dutch Municipalities (Vereniging Nederlandse Gemeenten).
