About CBPM

In the Circular and Biobased Performance Materials (CBPM) research programme, companies and knowledge institutes from across the value chain are working together in developing high-quality materials based on biomass and post use waste; materials that are being increasingly applied in practice. The research focuses on three types of materials: polymers produced by plants, polymers from biobased building blocks produced via biotechnology or chemical catalysis and polymers from waste. The CBPM programme is partly financed by the Dutch Government and is led by Wageningen Food & Biobased Research.

Magazine on CBPM results

The first wave of projects in the successful CBPM programme has been completed. The results of these nine projects are available online in the 2015 edition of the BPM Magazine. The earlier edition of the BPM Magazine (2011) can also be downloaded.
